Summary of Experience
Mary W. Campbell, B.A., English, minor in French, from the University of New Orleans, has over 15 years experience in genealogical research with emphasis on the southern United States. A member of the National Genealogical Society, the Federation of Genealogical Societies, and the Association of Professional Genealogists, she began her genealogical education with the NGS American Genealogy course and continues in her spare time to supplement her professional knowledge with annual attendance at national and local conferences and seminars. Located minutes from Clayton Library in Houston and the Harris County, Texas archives, she is available for document retrieval, transcription, and abstracting. When time permits, she travels to research in archives, libraries, and courthouses across the South, as well as the Family History Library in Salt Lake City. French translation services for early Louisiana documents are available.
